The Maine Historical Society Museum provides visitors with an exciting window into Maine's rich historical tradition. Located within the Wadsworth-Longfellow House, the museum is five blocks north of the Portland Public Library. The museum's permanent collection includes more than 15,000 items, including clothing, textiles, and Native American artifacts.
